If you follow any media at all you have most likely heard about Super foods. But to be honest, do you know what it is, except that blueberry is supposed to be one of them?

To put it briefly, super food is food that is considered to be very good for your health and it may even help some medical conditions. It is food with a high content of essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids and fatty acids. Sounds good, right?

So what else except for blueberries is super food?

The list is long, but to name a few more besides for blueberries:

Superfood Salad

Now you probably think:

-Ok, that’s doesn’t seem too complicated.

And it’s not. The complicated part is when you are tired and want to make a quick dinner for your family and yourself. The last thing you want to think of is if the ingredients in front of you are Super foods or not.

If you want to try to eat more of this healthy super food, the easiest way is to get a good and helpful cookbook. We love Jamie Oliver’s Super Food family classics, which is a really hands-on and inspiring cookbook. (This is not sponsored)

Or you could start with this salad, which is our tip to how you easily combine super food into a tasteful dish.
