This healthy homemade Nutella is one of our absolute favorites when it comes to breakfast. It’s so easy to make, tastes fantastic and will fill you with good, healthy energy right from the early morning hours.

For breakfast we serve it on a piece of rye bread or some other delicious whole wheat bread, together with a sliced banana but, it’s also perfect on crispbread as a quick energy booster if your blood suger drops in the afternoon.

Recipe

You will need:


• 100 ml/0,5 cups hot water
10-12 dates
50 g almonds
50 g hazelnuts
3 tablespoons cocoa
a pinch of salt

How to:

  1. Put all ingredients in a food processor and mix until it has a nice smooth texture.
  2. If you want a sweeter taste just add a few extra dates.
  3. Fill in a clean glass jar with lid and store in refrigerator.
