Recipes
GINGER SYRUP
You will need:
• 2,5 dl / 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1,7 dl / 3/4 cup water
• 2,5 dl / 1 cup sliced fresh ginger root, peeled
How to:
- combine the sugar and water in a saucepan on medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the ginger and continue to heat, bringing the syrup to a light boil.
- Cover, reduce heat, and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool and steep in the covered pan for about 1 hour or until it reaches your preferred taste.
- Strain out the ginger and bottle under a tight seal.
- Mix into your favorite drinks and enjoy!
ROSEMARY SYRUP
You will need:
• 2,5 dl / 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2,5 dl / 1 cup water
• 0,5 dl / ¼ cup rosemary leaves
How to:
- Combine water, sugar, and rosemary leaves in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and let syrup steep for about 30 minutes.
- Pour the syrup into a sterilized glass jar through a mesh strainer to remove rosemary leaves; let cool.
HONEY SYRUP
You will need:
• 2,5 dl / 1 cup honey
• 2,5 dl / 1 cup water
How to:
- Add the honey and water into a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the honey is dissolved.
- Allow to cool and transfer to an airtight container.
