You will need:
Serves 4
For the meatballs:

• 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 grated onion
• 1 egg
• 1 garlic clove
• 1/4 cup chopped parsley (save some for garnish)
• salt, pepper
• 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
• Black pepper
• Olive oil
For the tomato sauce:
• 3 garlic cloves
• 2 x 400 g tinned crushed tomatoes
• 2 tbsp honey
• 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
• Salt and pepper
• Spagetthi
How to:
Make the meatballs:
1. Mix breadcrumbs and water in a bowl and let stand for 10 min.
2. Add the minced beef, grated onion, finely chopped garlig, grated cheese and chopped parsley and mix until combined.
3. Season well and add the beaten egg to bind, mixing with your hands.
4. Shape a small piece of the mixture into a ball and fry in an oiled pan until cooked, then taste for seasoning – if necessary, adjust the seasoning of the uncooked mixture.
5. With damp hands, shape the rest of the mixture into meatballs.
6. Heat the olive oil in a large, wide pan. Add the meatballs and fry for 5 minutes, turning frequently, until browned all over.
Make the tomato sauce:
7. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, add thinly sliced garlic and fry gently until lightly golden.
8. Increase the heat slightly and pour in crushed tomatoes and honey.
9. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
10. Add the vinegar and season with salt and pepper.
11. Pour the tomato sauce over the meatballs and simmer for a further 10-15 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
12. Serve the meatballs with spagetthie and garnish with chopped parsley.
