When you enter Gry and Karsten’s home, you are greeted with a calm and unpretentious atmosphere. Gry and Karsten live in a villa apartment on 138 m2 north of Copenhagen, just a short bikeride from cafes, beach and forest. They like that they aren’t too far from Copenhagen, but they also enjoy the birds’ twitter and the tranquility of their beautiful garden, which in the summer is the setting for many celebrations and cozy moments with family, friends and their children.
Gry is a very social person and love having guests and dinners, where she can express herself creatively in the kitchen and be a good hostess. She makes a big effort and takes pride in everything she does – whether it is quality time with their two boys, creative pursuits, dinner parties or furnishing their home.
When it comes to their home, she likes a home that is peaceful and has clean lines. A home where she can relax and recharge after a hectic day. Therefore, she chose a calm and simple color palette in shades of gray with touches of pink and blue. This home is the epitome of Scandinavian coolness.
