How cute are these Flower Bunny Ears?!
The other day I (Alexandra) was daydreaming about summer. Sunny days, beaches, ice cream and long warm summer evenings. The cold, windy and rainy days, which we have in Denmark at the moment, definitely reinforce the longing.
My summer daydreaming led me on to thinking about Swedish Midsummer. Breathtaking beautiful Stockholm archipelago, family and friends, herring with new potatoes, strawberry cake and colorful flowers in girls hair.
All of this suddenly made me look for inspiration for summer flower wreaths. And somewhere between all the creative flower crowns, a pair of cute Easter bunny ears with flowers made out of cloth appeared.
So what happened? Well, my interest and search for inspiration for flower wreaths, quickly changed to a search for Easter bunny ears. My thoughts of barefoot dancing on the jetty were blown away and replaced with pastel-colored eggs and carrots.
And honestly, that’s exactly how the creative process precedes in my head. I jump from one thing to an other, and often it ends with something completely different, far away from the first thought. Confusing? Probably for some people (like my husband) who tries to keep up. But to me it’s crystal clear.
But the outcome of my daydreaming didn’t go too bad. In anticipation of midsummer and beautiful flower wreaths, these Cute Flower Bunny Ears were brought to life and they are perfect for the upcoming Easter. And no matter what it’s always a good idea to refresh the binding technique for your midsummer flower wreaths.

- Attach the two lasts mini-flower bunches in the opposite direction on each side to cover the last stems and wire and to get a nice finish.
