Getting our kids to tidy up their rooms is still something we work on on a daily basis. And to be completely honest, there is no difference whether it is our 6 year old or our oldest at 15. Their rooms always has to look like a minor disaster before we can convince them that it would be a good idea to put all their things back at their places before adding new ones.
Of course, it’s part of the job description as a good parent – through guidance and education, to teach them to be able to tidy up and clean their own room. But as we said, it’s a work in progress… 😅
So unfortunately, this post isn’t gonna give you the perfect tip on how to make your kid tidy up their room. But if you have any tips and ideas that you know work, please do share them with us in the comment field below! 🙏
However, we have an other really good tip for you on how you can super easily decorate you kid’s room with a little help from beautiful dried flowers. All you need is:
- Different dried flowers
- A string
- A couple of nails
- Some clothespins
How to: Attach and tighten the string between two nails. Hang small bunches of flowers to the string with the help from clothespins and THAT’S IT! So super easy and it looks so pretty.👌
Liva’s Room: The walls in Liva’s room are all painted with the beautiful color Soft skin from Jotun. It’s a really nice and warm color and although it’s not pink it’s still very girlish. The sheer curtains and small-flowered bedding are from H&M home.
